House of Records is an independent record store with a physical retail storefront in Santa Monica, CA. We are Los Angeles' oldest record store, dating back to 1952. Although we are a small company, we are committed to constantly expanding and improving both our product selection and customer service.

We stock compact discs, LPs and record care and storage accessories. We sell rare vinyl of all kinds, but specialize in rock, soul, jazz, hip-hop, and dance. We also maintain a selection of new (yes, NEW) vinyl of current releases.

House of Records is geared toward music lovers of all flavors, appealing to record collectors, audiophiles and DJs as well as casual music enthusiasts in search of great CDs at bargain prices.
